2009-present
Co-Director of Chamber Music Concert Series at Evergreen Cultural Centre . With a budget from ECC I create programming, hire guest artists and perform on concerts as a member of Quiring Chamber Players. Guest collaborators have included violinists Ian Swensen, Scott St. John,  Catherine French, Andy Dawes, Marc Destrube, Gwen Thompson, Dale Barltrop, mezzo soprano Anita Krause, soprano Robyn Driedger Klassen, clarinetist Francois Houle, members of Borealis Quartet and Vancouver Symphony

2010
Release of CD on ORF label (Vienna) Solo piano and chamber works of Richard Stoehr (1887-1967). CD featured on Alain Lefevre’s Espace Musique (Radio Canada) and West Coast Classics (CFRO Radio)

2005-2010
Music on Main at the Cellar, invited as collaborative pianist at Pender Harbor Festival, Music on a Wednesday, SFU School of Contemporary Arts (hired to play new student compositions).  Invited as guest pianist with Trio Accord, Standing Wave Ensemble, Metta Ensemble, and annual guest pianist with Pro Nova Ensemble.

Produced CD with Davidsbundler Duo, works for viola and piano

1996-2005
Representative performances include concerto appearances with Redlands Symphony, San Bernardino Symphony (Mozart Concerto K.482 with original cadenzas), Frieburg Philharmonic, UCLA Philharmonic (concerto competition winner), UCLA Wind Ensemble (Stravinsky Concerto for Piano and Winds) Gala concert for re-opening of Royce Hall.  Performed as soloist and chamber music collaborator at Midi de Minimes Festival (Brussels), University of Kleipeda (Lithuania) , Weill Hall (Carnegie Recital Hall), Elora Festival (Ontario) Music at the Vinyards (Napa Valley California), Los Angeles County Museum “Sundays at 4” Series with live broadcast, “Old First” Series in San Francisco, Vitaly Margulis 75th Birthday Celebration featuring Martha Argerich,  San Francisco Conservatory Faculty Concert

Brandenburg Concertos with members of Vancouver Symphony, Evergreen Cultural Centre

Fortepiano:
Studies with Robert Levin in Freiburg,  Villa Musica Festival in Mainz Germany (Chamber music on period instruments performing with Rainer Kussmaul, concertmaster of Berlin Philharmonic), Villa Medici-Guilini in Briosco Italy (travel grant from UCLA for doctoral research, specifically on the Graf piano in relation to Schumann piano music)

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Currently on faculty at VSO School of Music and private home studio in Coquitlam

Director of the Quiring  Chamber Music Camp in Vancouver. Chamber groups which I’ve coached have placed 1st and 2nd three consecutive years at Friends of Chamber Music competition.

Adjudicator for Vancouver Academy of Music Solo Piano Scholarship competition and Chamber Music Competition

Adjudicator for Abbotsford Music Festival (on line)

Piano Faculty, Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles (piano majors)

Teaching assistantship at UCLA,  private instruction (1 hour weekly) to composition majors, as degree requirement.  Public concert was presented each semester.

Piano Faculty, Pasadena Conservatory of Music.  On “Steering Committee” dedicated to mutual understanding and cooperation between Faculty, Board of Directors and major donors.
